Silent meditation for the purpose of attaining God-communion is held to be the very foundation of true religion. The practice of meditation is a part of every SRF service.
Sit with the spine straight and eyes closed.Relax the body and calm the mind.Concentrate the attention at the point between the eyebrows, the brain center of will and spiritual perception, which is called the Christ Consciousness Center.
If you do not know a definite technique of meditation, silently pray or inwardly chant with the attention focused at the Christ Consciousness Center.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES: Prior to entering the chapel, please turn off cell phones, watches with alarms or other devices that may make noises that disturb meditation.
FRAGRANCES: As a courtesy to those who are fragrance sensitive, please do not wear cologne or perfume.
